I created this pretty wind chime with all oyster shells I collected alongside St George Island, FL, together with fairly, seafoam coloured, frosted glass beads and pearls. The shells have been hand drilled and strung, and connected to driftwood with beading wire. There are 5 strands of shells and beads. General this items measures approx. 26 inches lengthy from the highest of the twine by 9.5 inches huge. All of my shells are cleaned and sanitized in a bleach and water tub, then rinsed totally, and dried within the solar. It seems to be pretty displayed each indoors and out. At all times cling on a safe hook, I DO NOT suggest command strips! If hanging outdoor I like to recommend hanging in a protected space corresponding to below a lined porch to maintain it protected against the climate, as sturdy winds and rain may cause injury. I like to recommend taking it down if it’s going to be very windy.
